VersaTool’s design department designers utilize AutoCAD 2020 allowing them to create stunning designs and improve collaboration with innovative productivity tools & software including DIEMAKER™, Virtual Gibbs and VISI Solid and Surface 3D programming. All computer terminals are network between Design, CNC Machining centers and CNC Wire EDM Machines.

CNC MACHINING

CNC Machining is a process used in the manufacturing sector that involves the use of computers to control machine tools. Tools that can be controlled in this manner include lathes, mills, routers and grinders. The CNC in CNC Machining stands for Computer Numerical Control. There are many advantages to using CNC Machining. The process is more precise than manual machining, and can be repeated in exactly the same manner over and over again.

TOOL & DIE

It is our goal to produce high quality tooling using state of the art equipment and highly skilled Tool and Die makers. Some of our industries but not limited to are Automotive, electronics, recreational, oil industry, Medical, government and commercial applications. Along with designing and building our Tool & Die department has the capability of doing try out runs and 1st article PPAP runs in our 500 ton 72” x 156” presses.

PRECISION MACHINING

Complementing the other resources VersaTool has to complete our customer’s expectations is the Precision Machining Department. This department is capable of OD grinding (up to 8′ long) and turning (up to 120″ long and 78″ in diameter). We also have several Vertical and Horizontal Mills, with our mills having 8′ tables.

VERSATOOL & DIE MACHINING AND ENGINEERING, INC., owned and operated by Matt Baker, consists of approximately 35,000 square feet of building space. VersaTool began business in the 1940′s, incorporated in the 1960′s. The 30 employees are skilled and experienced machinists, assemblers, tool and die makers and die design engineers with Autocad 2020 and Die Maker software along with Visi and Virtual Gibbs.

The wide variety of equipment and experienced staff makes VersaTool & Die a versatile shop capable of handling an array of machining aspects from tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to production machining, short run stampings, and high volume assembly work. Learn More →
